We care very deeply about our buildings and our tenants’ happiness in them. Our purpose is to make sure our buildings are as well managed as possible because we believe that better buildings build better businesses and happier, more productive people.
A passion for property. Proven.
Each property manager looks after only +-40 tenants while the average for most other companies is +-200 tenants per property manager. This way, we can give each tenant a lot more time and attention and take care of the properties so that our tenants can focus on their business.
Our vacancy levels are generally in the range of 1%-2% whereas the industry norm is +-10%. This gives testament to the fact that tenants are happy in our buildings and rarely leave.
We encourage all potential tenants to speak to our existing tenants to see how we manage our buildings before signing a lease.
Sustainability
Because we always strive to be dynamic and forward thinking to better both society and the environment, Africrest is one of the first companies to have placed solar panels on the majority of our buildings.
1,506 solar panels (or 34,000kg worth) have been installed to date and it is estimated that per annum:
- About 600,000kg of CO2 emissions will be saved.
- At least 1,4 million litres of water will be saved.
As it is an invaluable investment in all of our futures, we will continue to focus on sustainability going forward.
